Introductions

  1. My name is Mohamed Bouchakka. I am a secondary school teacher of English. I live and work in Agadir, a tourist resort in the south of Morocco, famous for its sunny days, beautiful beaches and golden sands .It s the capital of the Souss-Massa-Daraa region.

    I got my Bachelor degree in Linguistics from Ibnou Zohr University in Agadir . I completed successfully the pre-service teacher training program. I attended so many conferences, workshops and seminars with The British Council, Relo , MATE and the Regional Academy of Training and Education in Agadir . I am very enthusiastic and believe in life long learning. I am very much interested in the implementation of technology in the field of secondary education.

I am Poonam Anand from India, I stay in the capital city, New Delhi.I am a mathematics teacher, teaching grades 8,9 and 10.My hobbies are music, meeting new people , watching movies.I am very under confident about using technology so, am looking forward to overcome my fears and take something with me that'll help me in my subject area.

    My name is Mohamadou fadra Sylla. I am from Senegal and I have been teaching english as foreign language for about 12 years now. Part of my job is also to supervise teachers of english in my area. I am very glad to participte in ILEP program, which I think will be a great opportunity for me to grow professionally. I am looking forward to learning from you all. My fields of interest are randomly languages, computers, traveling, family life, anything related to culture and civilization. My greatest belief is that we can make the world a better place!

  4. My name is I Wayan Sumertha. Just call me Wayan. I am form Indonesia. My city is Manado. Manado is the capital city of North Sulawesi. Indonesia Comprises five big islands: Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and Papua.

    I am teaching English at Public Senior High School 1 Manado for tenth, eleventh, and twelfth grade. I hope that I can integrate IT knowledge into my classroom practices, as well as for school level. I like IT, so it will be helpful for me to learn this subject. Besides, I like watching movie, and reading, but don't ask me the titles and the actors since I forget them easily.

I would love to learn how to incorporate technology in my classes to make it more interesting. In my free time, I love to travel or at least do virtual travel to learn about culture and people.

  6. My name is Issam AlSkhaineh. I am from Jordan. I live in a village call Turra. It is about 70 miles from the capital of Jordan, Amman. I teach English to 11th and 12th grades. We hope to learn how to use the technology effectively in the school and in the classroom. I like watching soccer and I like reading.

    I am Sunitha from India. I live in Thrissur, Kerala, which is in the southern extreme of the country. My city is a land of festivals and spicy food.
    I teach English to 11th and 12th grade boys.

    I love to watch movies and read books and listen to film music. I love to browse thru internet. I also love to go for long drive in rains.

I am Jabulani Tshuma from South Africa and a Physical sciences curriculum implementer from grade 10-12 in FET schools.I am also doing BSC Environmental management as an undergraduate degree.I hope the class will improve my technological skills so as to apply it in both my job related activities and my personal life in general.I enjoy jogging,playing soccer and listening to jazz music.

  15. My name is Ryan Visser. I was born in California, moved to Pennsylvania at an early age and lived there until I was 14, when I moved to Virginia Beach! After graduating from the College of William and Mary, life took me to Clemson, SC where I have been teaching Instructional Technology for ~10 years (wow!).

    My interests include music and movies (all kinds), traveling, playing cards, making (and drinking) beer, watching the television show “Lost”, and of course, spending time with my kids!
